Nothing new
I REFER to the recent appointment of Russ Bowden as leader of Warrington Borough Council.
What a recipe for disaster.
He talks about transparency and consultation with the public in the future.
Where was the transparency and consultation with regard to investing council tax payers’ money in Redwood Bank and the solar panel farms at the cost of £92k?
Then there was the cost of the purchase of business parks and the cost of the new council offices.
Not to mention concealing council meeting dates denying the public the chance to voice their opinions at these meetings because the council doesn’t want to answer any difficult questions.
Nothing will change under Bowden.
