IN reference to the question for more information on the Lamb pub on Bridge Street (Warrington Guardian, August 16).
I was 17 when I first went there with my dad (even though I was actually under age at the time).
I remember it being near to where Hancock and Wood is now and you went down some steps to reach it.
It was the only place in Warrington that did draught Bass at the time in Warrington as most pubs served Greenalls.
I remember it being described as the Dive as its nickname, presumably because it was down the stairs.
