Just a couple of things to point out after his letter last week.
Firstly only car parks in Stockton Heath and Lymm have charges.
Wrong. The new Market Car Park, council owned, charges £3 all day – significantly more than any of the car parks in those areas.
Parking zones in north Warrington. They are in small residential streets close to the rugby ground and the hospital where parking was impossible at busy times.
It is busy in Stockton Heath but largely with people trying to avoid a £1 charge to park.
Mr Bebbington asked for the last time any money was spent in south Warrington?
Well how about all the streets being resurfaced in Stockton Heath in recent weeks and a new primary school being built in Stockton Heath.
