TO all those people who live in Callands, Westbrook, Old Hall and surrounding areas, you have my heartfelt sympathy if your daily journey involves going down Cromwell Avenue towards Sankey Way.
We are retired now so the only reason for that morning mini nightmare is hospital or doctor visits.
Traffic comes to a dead stop on reaching the Cannons Road roundabout because you have to give way.
You would think in the interest of fair play the traffic planners and councillors would consider a set of traffic lights.
I am certain given the amount of building going on at Omega, with all the extra revenue which is going to be generated, they could give us a set of lights.
But as traffic woes have shown in the past, traffic is not always a priority.
Crosfields roundabout is a classic case.
It still has no white lines and it is a free for all.
It should be renamed white knuckle circle because no-one has got a clue where they are.
So the next time there are local elections just remember the distance and time you have had to travel in first gear down Cromwell Avenue or how close you have frequently come to losing your no claims bonus at the roundabout without lanes.
