TORIES prefer to indulge in the character assassination of other party leaders instead of explaining policies (Warrington Guardian, May 25).

That’s understandable as their strong and stable leader finds it necessary to change their manifesto as they go along.

The social care fiasco proves the point as does lack of detail generally.

Jeremy Corbyn is not perfect but he has a sincerity and integrity hard to associate with a PM scared of meeting real people and answering real questions.

Those who question his patriotism may as well question mine and frankly deserve nothing but contempt.

Some call it negative campaigning, I call it evil.
