IN reply to Mr Klein, Warrington Guardian, January 21.
To set the record straight, I happen to agree with Pete Magill’s assessment on the election called in Bruche.
His point was very clear that it could have waited six months.
However make no mistake.
It was the Labour councillor that stood down, for still unknown reasons that cost the parish £5,500 and not UKIP that exercised its democratic right to call the election.
None of the other parties involved, and that includes Mr Klein’s Warrington North Conservative Association, contacted UKIP to discuss any resolution to the vacancy.
