I had petty parking ticket overturned

I do not know if it is the Lib Dems that brought the traffic wardens to town. For years I have parked legally at the back of the market, so that I can use the lift into the market, being badly disabled after a heart attack and a stroke.

The very first day of the traffic wardens' patrol, I parked in the same place as I always do.

I was legally parked, but when I got back to my car there was a ticket fining me £60 because my disabled sticker was not turned the way it should be.

I honestly believed I should have displayed it that way, it was showing my face to the front.

Fortunately, I appealed and it was scrapped.

I would have definitely gone to prison before I paid £60 for such a trivial offence.

Two days before this we were broken into and my disabled scooter and my wife's disabled scooter were stolen.
