I HAVE read numerous stories where people have moaned about Warrington Borough Council and I agree with them.
Now they want to increase the council tax to cover expenditure.
Why?
Why don’t you just get a grasp on reality and bring money into the council instead of wasting it.
Take for for example bus lanes in the town that are not being enforced; there are hundreds a day using them.
Why not have cameras and a penalty notice of £80? You will make thousands.
The staff and patients at Bath Street wellbeing centre use Legh Street bus lane all the time.
The one on Bridge Street outside the Guardian office is well used too, even though there are cameras there.
Buses run late because they have to wait behind idiots that don’t understand.
No entry bus and taxi only: the police hardly ever enforce them, so council are you going to grow a backbone and sort out this town?
Either enforce or just scrap them.
