I’M incensed at the implied criticism of Warrington A&E department.
So Warrington CCG has been closely monitoring the department since April?
If so then they will know as I do what a highly-skilled dedicated group of people they have there.
On Thursday, August 28, I was taken to Warrington A&E with breathing difficulties, a short while later my heart stopped and I hit the floor.
The fact that I am able to write this e-mail is testament to the prompt skilled treatment I received that day, something that I am going to be eternally grateful for.
I stayed at Warrington for eight days and everyone involved from the volunteers who come around with newspapers right through to the consultants were fantastic and nothing was too much trouble.
The nursing staff coped admirably doing what at times was a very stressful difficult job.
After eight days I transferred to the L.H.C.H at Broadgreen and once again my treatment and the quality of care I received were fantastic.
I would like to say a big thank you to everyone involved in my care and treatment but it was thanks to the fantastic A&E staff that I survived to be able to receive all the subsequent treatment.
Thanks to all concerned.
