LEIGH Leopards have been boosted by some positive injury news ahead of their trip to Warrington Wolves on Saturday.
It was feared former Wire prop Robbie Mulhern was set for a lengthy absence when he came off injured during the Leopards’ defeat to Hull KR last weekend in what would have been another big blow, with the likes of John Asiata, Edwin Ipape and Tom Briscoe already missing.
However, head coach Adrian Lam confirmed he was in contention at their pre-match press conference yesterday and he has now been named in the 21-man squad for the game.
Mulhern is one of six former Warrington players in the Leigh 21 while another – full-back Gareth O’Brien – is their latest injury concern.
