FANCY testing the grey matter alongside a Wire player, with Sam Burgess reading out the questions?

In June, you can do just that at the Warrington Wolves Supporters Trust and Squadbuilder quiz night, which is back for it’s 18th running.

The quiz, which is sponsored by Carlsberg Marston's, takes place at the Halliwell Jones Stadium’s 40/Twenty Lounge on Tuesday, June 18, with a 7pm start with players from the first team, reserves and academy along with club coaching staff all joining in.

Burgess will take on the role of quiz master as is traditional for a Wire head coach, with help from former Sky Sports rugby league reporter Angela Powers.

Teams of up to six members can be entered and tickets cost £7.50, which includes your first pint of Carlsberg Marston’s or a soft drink.

Prize trophies are on offer for the quiz winners along with a “booby prize” for the team that finishes in last place.

All proceeds go to the Warrington Wolves Supporters Trust and Squadbuilder as they bid to support the development of homegrown players at the club.
