WARRINGTON Wolves have confirmed the signing of Zane Musgrove for next season.
The prop forward will join on a two-year deal under the charge of new head coach Sam Burgess – his former teammate at South Sydney Rabbitohs.
As well as Souths, the 27-year-old has played in the NRL for Wests Tigers and latterly St George Illawarra Dragons, making 78 appearances in that time.
He takes the final overseas quota spot among The Wire’s current confirmed squad for 2024 – the other spots belong to Paul Vaughan, Matt Dufty, Sam Kasiano and Josh Drinkwater as well as incoming signings Lachlan Fitzgibbon and Rodrick Tai.
> Why Zane Musgrove believes he can find his best form at Warrington
“I’m really looking forward to bringing Zane to Warrington,” Burgess said.
“Having played and worked with him previously at Souths I know what he will bring.
“He is a committed athlete and will add to the Wire in 2024.”
Director of rugby Gary Chambers added: “Zane brings a host of NRL experience.
“He’s a big, athletic body which will complement our current forward pack moving forward.”
