WARRINGTON Wolves fans have been reacting to their team's season being brought to an end on Saturday afternoon.
Despite mounting a second-half fightback, The Wire succumbed to defeat at St Helens as their play-off campaign ended at the first hurdle for the fourth time in a row.
Here is some of what supporters have been saying on social media...
Hang your heads high lads, done by 2 forward pass tries. Can’t fault the effort

How many times are refs going to cost us against saints, first try was forward and the second is obstruction on ashton

Only thing about that, that I am happy about is that there can be no more embarrassment this year!

Well played game; shame the refereeing wasn't as good as it should have been. Next year is our year

Proud of that performance. 2 key errors from us that led to both St’s trys, also a big blow losing Tom Mikaele in the build up before kick off

Onto next year now, I’m looking forward to seeing Lachlan Fitzgibbon pull on the primrose 💛 & 💙 and also Zane Musgrove 🐺 https://t.co/6YwvQN8bn7
Well, we're consistent in early play off exits. https://t.co/qWkII5Kqo9

Given the team the upheaval this season decent performance - less said about officiating the better https://t.co/6wu5XMsCP3
