GARY Chambers has named his first 21-man squad as Warrington Wolves' interim head coach.

The Wire taken on Super League leaders Catalans Dragons on Friday and will do so without leading try-scorer Matty Ashton, who is not part of the squad.

The winger had returned from a calf injury for Sunday's defeat at Wakefield Trinity, which proved to be Daryl Powell's final game in charge.

Prop Tom Mikaele, who has been confirmed to have re-joined the club on a short-term deal, has been named in the squad. He is due to arrive back in the UK today and will be assessed in training tomorrow.

Jordan Crowther, who joined on a similar deal last week, could also make his Warrington debut.
