FORMER Warrington Wolves forward Jason Clark has confirmed his retirement from rugby league.

The pack man, who spent four seasons at The Halliwell Jones Stadium between 2019 and 2022, has hung up his boots after spending his final year playing in France.

Clark was also able to finish with a trophy having helped Limoux Grizzlies to victory in the Elite One Championship Grand Final on Sunday as they beat Carcassonne in Narbonne.

Having spent his entire NRL career with boyhood club South Sydney Rabbitohs, Clark moved to Warrington ahead of the 2019 season and helped them win the Challenge Cup in his first year at the club.

He made 85 appearances for The Wire in his four years at the club, scoring two tries before joining Limoux for this year.

“A lot of players don’t get to finish the way they want, but being able to win the championship in Limoux was an amazing finishing touch,” he wrote on Instagram.

“From playing at the Rabbitohs for over 10 years to moving to the North of England and playing there for 4 years and now living in the South of France

“I am so grateful for what Rugby League has been able to bring be and also my family.

“From my wife and three daughters to my Family and Friends, we have made some amazing memories for life and I couldn’t wish for anyone better to do it with.

“I have made great friends along this journey from coaches to players and everyone in between and want to thank them for everything.”

It is thought Clark will now return to his native Australia with wife Lauren and their three daughters Milla, Andi and Billie.
