DARYL Clark will undergo checks on an injury picked up during Warrington Wolves’ defeat to St Helens, but Robbie Mulhern will miss next week’s game against Wakefield Trinity.
Clark was substituted during the first half of The Wire’s 28-2 loss at the Totally Wicked Stadium and did not reappear during the second half, with Danny Walker playing for the majority of the game at hooker.
Prop Mulhern failed a head injury assessment having also been forced off during the first half and under concussion protocols, he will be ruled out of training and games for 11 days.
As a result, he will miss Trinity’s visit to The Halliwell Jones Stadium next Saturday.

In his post-match press conference, head coach Daryl Powell provided an update on the fitness of the squad.
“He got a bit of a crusher early on,” he said of Clark.
“He was grabbing at his neck and he was struggling with it so we put Danny (Walker) out there for big minutes. I’m not sure how serious it is.
“Robbie Mulhern got a head knock and couldn’t come back on, so that affected our rotations a bit.
“Hopefully Clarky will be okay, we’ll check him through the week.
“There’s a couple of bumps and bruises – there always is when you play Saints – but I don’t think there’s anything too serious.”
