WARRINGTON Wolves’ trip to Leigh Centurions on Thursday has been postponed.

One more Wire player has today tested positive for Covid-19, with a further player having to stand down under track and trace protocols.

This adds the seven that were already due to be unavailable following the postponement of the trip to Hull KR on July 11, taking them to a total of nine players ruled out for Covid-related reasons.

Under the Covid Fixture Protocols, teams can request postponements if seven or more of their top 25 paid players are unavailable for Covid-related reasons.

The clubs will now liaise with the RFL about a possible rearrangement of the fixtures, although the Betfred Super League table will again be determined by win points percentage to allow for the possibility of not all fixtures being fulfilled.
