JACK Hughes was given maximum Steve Prescott Man of Steel points for his display during Warrington Wolves' win at St Helens.
The Wire skipper earned his first points of the season after catching the voting panel's eye in the 6-2 victory as all the available points went to players from his side.
Hughes scored three points, with two being awarded to scrum-half Gareth Widdop while the remaining point on offer went to Ben Currie, who scored the game's only try.
It means Widdop is now just two points off the overall lead in the Man of Steel standings – he sits on 14 points, with Hull KR's Jordan Abdull and Catalans' Sam Tomkins leading the way on 16.
