TWO competitions round off the Warrington and North Cheshire Bowls Association season this week.
Tomorrow, Friday, will see an all Section A clash in The Centenary Trophy Final between St Oswald’s A and Woolston A, taking place at Croft Bowling Club with a 7pm start. The following day, Saturday, is the Player of the Year Finals which is being held at Grappenhall, starting at 1pm.
The following players are taking part:
Monday Night League qualifiers: D Morrison - Section A, D Bailey and D Head - Section B, D Hegan - Section C, S Caunce, H McMutrie, K Rushton and B Daniels - Section D.
Friday Night League qualifiers: D Penketh - Section A, P Scott - Section B, M Nolan - Section C, I Murray - Section D.
Meanwhile, a note for the diary, the WNCBA 2023 season presentation and race night will be held on Friday, February 9, 2024, at the Irish Club, with an 8pm start.
