WARRINGTON Town and Warrington Rylands will both play divisional rivals in the FA Cup later this month.

The neighbours were kept apart in this afternoon’s draw for the second qualifying round as Town enter the competition alongside their National League North rivals.

Mark Beesley’s side have been handed a home draw against Curzon Ashton, who won 4-1 at Cantilever Park in the league on Bank Holiday Monday.

Meanwhile, Rylands’ reward for Saturday’s 1-0 victory over Stockton Town in the first qualifying round is a trip to fellow Northern Premier League Premier Division side FC United of Manchester.

Second qualifying round ties are to take place on Saturday, September 16, with Rylands’ scheduled league game against Workington on that day to be rearranged for a later day.

Blues are due to face FC United in the league at Gorsey Lane 10 days after the cup tie on Tuesday, September 26.
