MARK Beesley has boosted his depleted Warrington Town squad with a brace of loan signings.

Forward Dylan Mottley-Henry and midfielder Arran Pettifer have both joined on month-long deals and will be eligible to make their debuts when Town visit Chorley tomorrow.

Their arrivals boost a Town squad that had been down to its last 12 fit and available senior players – two of which were goalkeepers Tony Thompson and Dan Atherton.

Winger Mottley-Henry joins from South Shields, whom he helped earn promotion to the National League North last season alongside Yellows.

The 26-year-old, who has also spent spells at Bradford City, Barnsley and Tranmere Rovers among others, scored 13 goals for the Mariners in 46 appearances in all competitions last season but has not featured in any of their three National League North fixtures thus far.

He will add to a forward line which is currently missing the likes of Jordan Buckley (ankle) and Josh Amis (knee) through injury while Luke Duffy left the club to join Macclesfield last week.

Central midfielder Pettifer is on the books of Bolton Wanderers, where he turns out for the club’s B team.

He spent last season on loan in the Northern Premier League with Atherton Collieries, for whom he scored twice in 36 appearances.

With Jay Harris (groin) and Matty McDonald (knee) injured and Bohan Dixon now starting a three-game ban, Pettifer’s arrival is once again a timely one.

As things stand, Mottley-Henry and Pettifer will both be available for Town's next six National League North matches.
