APPLETON Strikers under 12s football team went on tour to Holland and played in the Hanze Trophy.
They finished third overall and the tour was considered a great success.
Joe Delooze was player of the tournament for Appleton, scoring five goals.
However, the goal of the tournament was scored by Lucy Roundels who nipped in at the back post with a powerful header.
Oliver Pigeon was in great form between the sticks.
Club officials report that all the boys and Lucy did the town proud and should be proud of themselves.
