WARRINGTON Town are set to be boosted by another new signing ahead of their home game against Guiseley tomorrow.
The Guardian understands Town have agreed a deal for midfielder Larnell Cole to join Mark Beesley’s squad, with official confirmation said to be imminent.
The 29-year-old is eligible to make his debut when the in-form Lions visit Cantilever Park tomorrow.
Cole came through the academy at Manchester United to make his first-team debut in a League Cup game against Leeds United in 2011 – his only senior appearance for the club.
He then joined Fulham before gaining Football League experience with the likes of Milton Keynes Dons, Shrewsbury Town and Tranmere Rovers while he also played in Scotland with Inverness Caledonian Thistle, where he was a teammate of current Town assistant boss David Raven.
Cole has most recently been playing in Wales for Cymru Premier outfit Flint Town United.
He joins a squad that currently has concerns over the fitness of several key players ahead of their bid to extend their unbeaten run to 13 matches.
Left-back Andy White, midfielder Bohan Dixon (both ankle) and striker Josh Amis (back) will all require late checks while Jay Harris serves the final game of a two-match suspension.
