WARRINGTON Rylands have confirmed Michael Clegg as their new manager.
Last night, the Guardian reported Blues’ search for Jody Banim’s replacement had led them to the former Ashton United boss, who left the Robins last month after just over three years in charge.
This morning, the club officially confirmed Clegg’s appointment with Nicky Hunt, who made more than 100 Premier League appearances for Bolton Wanderers, joining as his assistant manager.
The pair will take training for the first time tonight and Clegg's first game in charge will be Saturday’s trip to Whitby Town.

Clegg takes over with Blues seven points off the Northern Premier League Premier Division play-off places and becomes their third manager of the season.
Banim resigned from his role at Gorsey Lane last month having taken charge of 24 matches after replacing Dave McNabb in September.
Prior to joining Ashton in 2019, Clegg had a hugely successful five-year spell in charge of Atherton Collieries.
He led them to three promotions and a place in the Northern Premier League’s top flight before moving to Hurst Cross in November 2019.
