WOOLSTON Rovers will celebrate the contributions of six people to their club next month with the help of a Warrington Wolves legend.
The club has confirmed its annual season launch sportsman's dinner will take place on Saturday, February 5, at Warrington Masonic Hall having not gone ahead last year due to Covid-19.
As part of the event, Rovers will induct John Astley, Derek Bailey, Liam Horrigan, George Hutchinson, Nigel Quarmby and Vinny Webb into their Hall of Fame.
The guest speaker will be rugby league icon Adrian Morley, who captained The Wire to three Challenge Cup titles and a League Leaders' Shield as part of a stellar career in the game.
Places are still available to attend – tickets cost £30 each or £280 for a table of 10.
