THERE is a joy and inspiration to these pictures of young rugby players.
In what have been difficult times with the coronavirus pandemic, to see these passionate budding Mike Coopers and Joe Philbins giving their all and taking so much fun from being able to play sport with their mates is something that can no longer be taken for granted.
These pictures, taken by Bernard Platt, show Bank Quay Bulls under sevens players can be every bit as determined and committed as the star names playing in Super League.
Here, the Bulls boys are captured on camera on their way to being the first side to beat St Helens side Blackbrook Royals this season.
And this new team, managed by Becky Kay, followed it up with another victory against Widnes Moorfield.
