WARRINGTON Town have confirmed the first three players to sign terms with the club for the upcoming campaign.

Full-back Eddie Clarke, attacking midfielder Luke Duffy and striker Jordan Buckley will all be part of Paul Carden’s squad at Cantilever Park.

Deals for more players are expected to be confirmed shortly as the squad returns to pre-season training.

Buckley joined the club from FC United of Manchester partway through the 2019-20 campaign and scored three times in eight appearances for Yellows last season.

In all, he has netted seven times in 15 appearances for the club.

Having made the step up from North West Counties League side Lower Breck last summer, Duffy appeared 10 times for Town before the campaign was curtailed, scoring twice.

Clarke, who counts Fleetwood and Tranmere among his former clubs, joined the club shortly before the season was stopped and made two appearances.

He and Buckley both joined Welsh side Flint Town United alongside Yellows teammates Josh Amis, Mitch Duggan and Evan Gumbs for the remainder of the campaign in order to keep playing football.
