FORMER Warrington Wolves winger Mark Forster scored a hat-trick as Rylands eased to victory in their Lancashire Cup second-round tie at Folly Lane on Saturday.
Guided by half backs Chris Forster - the son of Mark - and Peter Leonard, Rylands ran in five converted tries in a devastating 18-minute spell during the first half, with Andy Pucill, Carl Lloyd, Mark Forster, Jonathan Smith and Anthony Poole touching down.
Folly Lane threatened a comeback with tries either side of half time but Mark Forster scored his second of the game before further efforts from Chris Forster and Danny Hoyland sealed victory for Rylands, who host Bold Miners in the North West Counties Premier Division on Saturday at 2.30pm.
Mark Forster then got on the end of a kick from Leonard to complete his hat-trick with seconds of the match remaining.

RYLANDS A held out Moss Bank for long periods but eventually ran out of steam in North West Counties Division Six.
Danny Forster scored twice, while Andy Brindley added another try and Hayden Gahgan landed one goal for Rylands A, who travel to New Spring Lions on Saturday at 2.30pm.
