ADRIAN Morley should be available for Wolves' pre-season after having a wrist operation this week.
Morley had been expected to have surgery after the Tri-Nations, ruling him out for several weeks and making him doubtful for the first few games of Super League XII.
But the seven-match ban he received last week for kneeing an opponent while playing for Sydney Roosters has given him enough time to have the operation before the Tri-Nations starts.
Monday's operation on snapped ligaments is believed to have gone well, although an arthritic complication may extend the predicted recovery time of 12 weeks.
But Morley is still hoping to return in time for Great Britain's opening game against New Zealand in Christchurch on October 28.
