SOAP showed they have fire power across the park with a confidence-boosting win over third-placed East Leeds.
Six different players got over the whitewash in Saturday’s victory as improving Crosfields maintained seventh spot in National Conference Division Two.
Barber opened the scoring with a trademark barging run from close quarters and further tries were added by Jack Reid and Pickersgill as Soap opened up a 20-4 half-time lead.
With the help of an 11-1 penalty count East Leeds fought back with three tries but Soap got back on track with a rare try from prop Barry Lowe and a superb 70m interception try from Burgess.
Barber and Thompson completed the scoring.
