FOLLOWING the defeat to St Helens on Friday night, Warrington Wolves paid tribute to the six players confirmed to be leaving the club at the end of the year.
The 18-6 loss to their neighbours was The Wire's final home match of the year and as such, players and fans were given the opportunity to say goodbye to those who are leaving.
There was a particularly special ovation for hooker Daryl Clark, who skippered the side on his final Halliwell Jones Stadium appearance as a Warrington player against the team he will join next season and marked the occasion by scoring a try.
There were also tributes paid to Peter Mata'utia, Thomas Mikaele and Greg Minikin, all of whom are moving onto pastures new as well as youngsters Jack Darbyshire and Aiden Doolan.
All of the departing players were presented with a framed shirt by the club's vice-chairman Professor Steven Broomhead MBE.
