WARRINGTON Rylands’ superb form continued as they won on the road at Whitby Town this afternoon.
Their unbeaten run has now stretched to seven games, with a 3-1 victory sending them up to third in the Northern Premier League Premier Division table.
Mo Touray’s second goal of the afternoon gave Michael Clegg’s men the lead with 15 minutes remaining, with James Baillie adding an exclamation point in injury time.
Touray had given Blues a second-minute lead, with Coleby Shepherd levelling for the hosts just after the break.
“I’m absolutely delighted,” Clegg said post-match.
“It’s a tough place to come but to come away with three points and some really good performances, we’re really happy with that.
“Mo was good today – goals and assists are what he’s paid to do and there’s more to come from him.
“We think the world of him here and that’s why he plays week in, week out.”
Warrington Rylands: Pilling, Smith, Swaby-Neavin, Butler, Wilson, Furman, Hardcastle, Neild, Sidibeh, Touray (Kyfein), Baillie. Subs not used: Hough, Regan, Hurst
