WARRINGTON Town are going up – and they did it in dramatic style!
Isaac Buckley-Ricketts struck a late winner as Mark Beesley’s men edged a tense play-off final against Bamber Bridge despite going down to 10 men late on.
The substitute hooked in Jay Harris’ volley to send a sold-out Cantilever Park wild, 10 minutes after Josh Amis had been sent off for pushing his hand into Macauley Wilson’s face.
It means Mark Beesley’s side will play in the National League North – the highest level in their history – next season
The visitors were then reduced to 10 men themselves in injury time as Aaron Skinner was dismissed for a second booking after hacking down Bohan Dixon on the counter-attack.
