WARRINGTON Rylands have pulled off a major coup with their latest new signing.

Midfielder Jak McCourt has been revealed as the latest player to sign on the dotted line for Dave McNabb’s side as they prepare for their first season in the Northern Premier League Premier Division.

The 26-year-old has dropped down two tiers to join Blues having helped Chesterfield to the National League play-offs last season.

He has also spent time with the likes of Swindon Town, Northampton Town and Macclesfield Town during his career.

“Jak came in to train with us short term when Macclesfield Town were wound up,” McNabb said.

“He impressed immensely and we’ve kept in contact ever since.

“He’s a top class player who will bring real quality to the group.”

McCourt joins defenders Josh Langley and Aaron Morris, versatile wideman James Barrigan and forward Ryan Brooke as new faces at Gorsey Lane.
