THREE Warrington gymnasts pitted their wits against some of the country’s best talent at the weekend.
Warrington Gymnastics Club’s Emma Conroy and Edie Coyle and Hannah Giles of The Wire Gymnastics Club in Birchwood were part of the North West team that competed against rivals from across the UK.
They helped their team to sixth place out of 14 teams overall alongside Lacey-Rae Rosbottom from Manchester.
Giles was the team’s top-placed gymnast overall, placing seventh with a score of 62.550 – just 1.15 behind first place.
She finished fifth on range, seventh on both beam and vault and joint-12th on floor.
Conroy placed 26th overall while Coyle was 34th as part of an excellent team effort.
