THE first team may be struggling, but the Warrington Wolves academy sides are currently in fine fettle.

This week, both the Academy and Scholarship sides are back in action at Victoria Park looking to continue their winning runs.

On Friday evening, the Scholarship team will look to continue their perfect record for 2022.

Tyrone McCarthy’s side take on Wigan Warriors and a win will be their fifth in as many outings. Their four matches so far have seen them run in an impressive 226 points and concede just 32.

Kick off is at 7pm.

Then on Saturday afternoon, Richard Marshall’s Academy side take centre stage as they seek a sixth consecutive win.

They host Huddersfield Giants and a win could take them to the top of the Academy table, depending on other results.

They currently sit fourth, two points behind leaders Hull FC. Kick off is at 12 noon.
