TODAY is a significant day in the rugby league recruitment market.

As April turns to May, players who are in the final year of their current contracts are free to speak to rival clubs about moves for the 2023 season.

Several Warrington Wolves first-team players are currently in that boat, with 15 players off-contract in November as things stand currently.

Skipper Jack Hughes, long-serving Stefan Ratchford and prop Mike Cooper are among that number, as are the likes of Gareth Widdop, Josh Charnley and Riley Dean.

Billy Magoulias is also off-contract but the club are known to have an option to extend that deal in their favour.
