OUR resident Super League tipster “Mr Predictor” is back to take a look at Round Four, which gets underway with Wakefield Trinity vs Leeds Rhinos this evening.

Here’s how he sees this week’s fixtures going…

WAKEFIELD TRINITY VS LEEDS RHINOS

A clash of two sides yet to get off the mark in 2022 who will be desperate to do so against local rivals.

Trinity have had it tough visiting Catalans and Saints in the past two weeks but showed good signs in both games, while Leeds looked short on confidence and ideas last time out.

However, I think they’ll just have enough to edge this one.

Prediction: Leeds by 4

WARRINGTON WOLVES VS CATALANS DRAGONS

Surely there is no better time for Warrington to run into the Dragons, with their full squad pretty much fit and available while the Frenchmen toil with injuries and suspension.

That said, Catalans just keep finding a way as they did at Leeds in Round Three and their tribulations will bring them closer together.

On this occasion, though, I’m backing Daryl Powell’s side to make it four our of four.

Prediction: Warrington by 10

TOULOUSE OLYMPIQUE VS WIGAN WARRIORS

Is there such thing as an away banker?

By all accounts, TO gave Warrington a bit of a scare last week but I think Wigan are a step up again at the moment.

The Warriors look strong and I’m fancying them to extend their winning run in Toulouse and hand the newly-promoted side another loss.

Prediction: Wigan by 26

HUDDERSFIELD GIANTS VS SALFORD RED DEVILS

An intriguing one this with both sides going into Round Four having won two and lost one.

I think both clubs – Huddersfield moreso – will at the very least fancy a season far away from struggles at the bottom and perhaps even threaten the play-offs.

With home advantage in this one, though, I think the Giants will take it to give Ian Watson a win over his old club.

Prediction: Huddersfield by 12

HULL KR VS ST HELENS

Saints continue to look like the winning machine they have turned themselves into. Give them a sniff and they are relentless in taking advantage.

A trip to Craven Park is no guarantee of two points, though, with Tony Smith’s side showing their first signs of the vibrant team that thrilled the neutrals in 2021 last time out.

Despite that, however, I cannot foresee anything other than an away victory here.

Prediction: Saints by 18

CASTLEFORD TIGERS VS HULL FC

Round Four is wrapped up by two-from-three Hull FC visiting a winless Castleford side.

At the moment at least, the Tigers appear to be struggling to adapt to life under Lee Radford and I can’t see it improving in this game.

If Jake Connor can fire like he did in Round Three when he was simply unplayable against Salford, the Black and Whites should head back up the M62 with the points.

Prediction: Hull FC by 10
