FRESH from arguably the best result of their season to date, Warrington Rylands are in action again this evening.

Having won 2-0 at Marine, who came into the game as league leaders, on Saturday, Dave McNabb's side are on the road again as they travel to Colne for a rearranged Northern Premier League West Division fixture.

The game was due to be played in late November but was postponed due to a frozen pitch at Colne's Holt House ground.

Third-placed Blues will aim to continue their winning start to 2022 having emerged victorious in all three games they have played since the turn of the year.

They could move up to second place by doing so depending on this evening's other results, with Marine and new leaders Workington also in action – Marine host Mossley while Workington travel to City of Liverpool.

Rylands' hosts for this evening, who appointed a new manager in the shape of ex-Manchester City striker Jon Macken earlier this month, are in a safe mid-table position but have lost their past three games.

They do, however, boast a prolific frontman in Reece Webb-Foster, who has struck 11 league goals so far this season.

The match kicks off at 7.45pm.
