IT was a weekend to forget for Grappenhall Cricket Club as all three senior teams were beaten.
The firsts chose to bowl first after winning the toss at Sale, but they could not take advantage as the hosts built up a solid score.
They eventually were bowled out for 241, with Sam Guest the pick of the Grappers bowlers as he claimed four wickets.
With the bat, the visitors never got close enough as they were bowled out for 194 in reply.
The seconds were thrashed by 10 wickets by their Sale counterparts, who chased down Grappenhall’s score of 147 all out without losing a wicket.
The thirds fell short of their victory target of 176 against Didsbury as they were dismissed for 140 in reply.
