WARRINGTON Rylands have won the FA Vase!

Elliott Nevitt's hat-trick of goals made Wembley history as Dave McNabb's side held on in a nerve-shredding occasion.

The big striker put Blues ahead midway through the first half after Joe Coveney had flicked Kane Drummond's cross into his path.

Liam Ferdinand equalised for Binfield as half-time approached but immediately afterwards, Nevitt converted a penalty after Charlie Doyle had been hacked down in the box.

Nevitt then became the first player to score a hat-trick in an FA Vase Final since 1979 when he headed home Coveney's corner.

Ferdinand's long-range effort set up a nervy final 20 minutes, but Blues saw the game out to lift the prestigious trophy.
