THIS is a selection of the reaction to Warrington Wolves' 24-8 win against Catalans Dragons in Perpignan in Betfred Super League Round Four.
Ben Currie, Toby King, Jake Mamo and Gareth Widdop collected the tries.
Great away performance by the @WarringtonRLFC 2day. Great in defence and going forward for change. #upthewire

What a performance by @WarringtonRLFC did not see that results after the first few rounds and no Austin. Hopefully kickstarts their season now ๐ค

Thatโs more like it. Brilliant turnaround and 24 unanswered points.

Big win by @WarringtonRLFC to go to @DragonsOfficiel and put in a decent performance against one of the form @SuperLeague sides early on is a good statement! Still a bit hit and miss by the wire but definitely more positive signs today #SLCatWar

.@MattyyAshton absolutely superb, played like a seasoned pro; his awareness & concentration level was spot on. Very very good amongst a good team performance ๐
โ Jamie Dewsbury (@VicsNews) April 24, 2021
Team effort but with off the cuff players like Jake Mamo and @MattyyAshton they stood out this evening. Pleased too that @garethwiddop is taking a leadership role. Really good win. Just need to keep going now!

Always one of the toughest games Catalans away so great to come away with the win!! ๐บ #YTBS @WarringtonRLFC
โ Ben Currie (@BenoCurrie) April 24, 2021
Unbeaten in 4 games in all competitions, including a draw away to Hull and a convincing victory away at Catalans- both of whom were unbeaten. If that wasnโt enough, a certain GI is about to enter the fray...Reasons to be positive, @WarringtonRLFC ๐

From Warrington Wolves-Warrington Guardianย Facebook page:
Rob Smith: One off the best performances I've seen from the wire in a while.keep the same team, bring gi from the bench
John Knox: Fantastic lets use this to kick our season on..
Al Worrall: A pleasing win. We started off cold but grew into it. Defence held up well against an increasingly frantic Catalan and attack was much better. Perhaps this is where we kick on. Hill, Widdop, Cooper, Daz Clark and Ashton all stood out but my MOTM was Mamo. Keep it building Wire.ย #COTWย #Wire2021
Mark Turner: Great last 50 much more like it first 30 was poor in Attack but we turned it around
John D. Hodgkinson: Terrific win, Catalans had a 100% record and averaged over 30 points a game. Our superb defence shut them out
Mike Tress: Didnโt see that coming after what I seen first few weeks. But great result well played really dug in
