CHRIS Hill's Testimonial game is now officially confirmed.

Warrington Wolves will host his former club and Super League newcomers Leigh Centurions at The Halliwell Jones Stadium on Thursday, March 18, kick-off 7pm - and fans will be able to watch from home.

The Warrington, England and Great Britain prop has been awarded a Testimonial year after making over 270 appearances for The Wire, starting with the fixture against Leigh behind closed doors.

Despite fans not being able to attend, they will still be able to catch the first glimpse of new recruits in primrose and blue for the first time with the game being streamed live on Facebook and OurLeague.

Access to the live stream via either platform will cost £4.99 in advance and £7.99 on matchday with all proceeds going to Chris Hill’s Testimonial fund.

“To have a Testimonial game, featuring the two clubs who have played such important roles in my career, is something I’m really proud of," said the former Wire skipper, who joined the club from Leigh ahead of the 2012 campaign.

“It’s a great feeling to have played for Warrington for a decade and this will be a great opportunity to celebrate the milestone with my teammates, coaches and family who have all supported me along the way.

“I’m gutted the fans won’t be there with a packed out HJ for the occasion, but I know they’ll be supporting from home - they might even get a first glimpse of Greg Inglis in a Wire shirt.

“Myself and the rest of the lads can’t wait to welcome our supporters back this season and hopefully there’ll be plenty of other events to follow once restrictions lift.”
