ANYONE look familiar to you on these pictures?
They are all believed to have been taken between 1929 and 1935 at the Warrington greyhound and speedway track, which was based at Arpley Meadows, off Slutchers Lane.
Known as the Arpley Motordrome it opened for speedway in 1929 and attracted crowds of more than 10,000 people.
By 1930 the speedway had run out of money though and greyhound racing dominated until 1956 when the track closed and the stadium was sold.
It looks like there was lots of fun to be had alongside the hard work behind the scenes for these men during the greyhound years.
The pictures have been supplied by Mike Waller, 67, from Appleton whose dad Cecil features in a number of them. However, nothing is known about the other chaps.
He said: "Someone will probably recognise their dad, grandad or workmate."
