WARRINGTON Wolves' walkover win over Salford Red Devils DOES NOT count towards suspensions currently being served by Tom Lineham and Sitaleki Akauola.
The RFL confirmed to the Guardian that the match - scheduled for last Friday but awarded to The Wire after Salford forfeited due to player availability issues - will not go down as a match served on bans despite Warrington being awarded a 24-0 victory.
As a result, Lineham still has one match of an eight-game ban for a "squirrel grip" on Castleford's Alex Foster to serve while Akauola has two games remaining on a three-match suspension for a dangerous throw against Leeds Rhinos last month.
