JUNIOR rugby league players at Woolston Rovers have been doing their bit to say thank you to the NHS for their work during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The junior and youth section at Monk Sports Club have raised £915 through sales of their specially designed NHS shirt.
After 183 shirts were sold, with orders coming in from as far away as Oldham and the Lake District, the money will go to the paediatrics ward at Warrington Hospital.
The shirt was designed by 1895 Sports and the club presented one framed by Mike Hough Cheshire Framing, Photo Printing and Mount Cutting to the hospital.
Meanwhile, the club are looking for new players for their girls and boys teams across all age groups.
Players of any ability are welcome. Anyone interested should contact junior and youth chairman Pete Bowden on 07790541559 or email woolstonroverschair@gmail.com
