JAKE Mamo will go for scans on the injury he sustained during Warrington Wolves' loss to Wigan Warriors this evening.
The outside back left the field early during the 18-14 defeat, with Matty Ashton replacing him to play the majority of the game on the left wing.
Head coach Steve Price confirmed the full extent of the injury will be known after the scans.
"He felt a twinge in his knee when he was going for a try in the left hand corner," he said.
"We’ll send him away for scans and then we’ll go from there. That’s all I can report at this stage."
The Wire have a short turnaround before their next game - the visit of Leeds Rhinos to The Halliwell Jones Stadium on Tuesday night.
Price would not rule out rotating his squad, with the Rhinos likely to send a much-changed side ahead of their Challenge Cup Final appearance next Saturday.
"We’ll get the boys back in on Sunday then reassess," he said.
"We’ve got a number of guys knocking on the door to get a crack at that 17."
