WARRINGTON Wolves’ Super League game against Salford Red Devils has been brought forward by 24 hours.
The game will now be played on Tuesday, September 29, kick off 6pm at the AJ Bell Stadium having been originally scheduled for the following day.
Following Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s announcement that the plan to start reintroducing crowds to professional sport from October has been scrapped, a pilot scheme that would see four Super League games being watched by crowds of 1,000 has been cancelled.
This means the Salford-Warrington match will be part of a double header played at the AJ Bell on Tuesday, with Wigan Warriors taking on St Helens at 8.15pm.
Both games will be broadcast live on Sky Sports.
