FORMER Warrington Wolves man Ben Harrison is back in rugby league.

The popular forward, who gave over a decade of loyal service to The Wire, has signed up to play in League One for hometown club Barrow Raiders in 2021.

Harrison is still only 32 but has not played since finishing the 2016 campaign on loan at Wakefield Trinity after injury plagued his final years at The Halliwell Jones Stadium.

After helping Warrington to Challenge Cup Final wins in 2009, 2010 and 2012 as well as appearing in the 2012 and 2013 Super League Grand Finals, injuries caught up with him and the final game of the 2015 season against St Helens proved to be his last in primrose and blue.

Having made his debut in 2006, the Cumbrian made 211 appearances for The Wire, scoring 19 tries.
