WARRINGTON Wolves have confirmed rugby union convert Luther Burrell has been released from his contract with the club.
The 32-year-old has not featured in any of The Wire's matches since Super League restarted.
The England rugby union international was contracted to the club until the end of next season but he is no longer part of Steve Price's squad.
Burrell played only eight games for Wolves after switching codes last summer, joining from union side Northampton Saints.
